After being shortlisted for the award at the beginning of this month, Tom Marrs has been confirmed as the winner of the Football in Berkshire August Goal of the Month.

The goal was scored during our First Team 1-0 pre-season win away at Abingdon United on 18th August.

Ascot United striker and Goal of the Month judge, Ian Dennis, commented on Tom’s goal, “Clear winner - so often you see them sail over the bar.”
