Following the Government’s update regarding the roadmap for easing lockdown restrictions, we are delighted that we can now look forward to the safe return of grassroots football from 29 March.

This date will see the return for both adults and children. The FA will now work with the Government on plans for the safe return of grassroots football across England, and issue updated guidance in due course.

The FA have also confirmed that the 2020/21 grassroots season has been extended until the end of June in order to provide flexibility and time for leagues to complete their fixtures if they wish to do so.

We await updates from the various leagues that are teams and age groups participate in and will update members as and when we receive any further information.
