Mixed cup results for the Men's First Team and Men's Sunday Firsts on a packed weekend of action for our sides.

The biggest game of the weekend saw our Men’s Sunday Firsts travel to Hertfordshire to take on Flaunden in the Second Round of the FA Sunday Cup. A brace from Ollie Brown saw us lead by two goals at the break, with Ryan Farmer heading in a third early in the second-half. Despite being down to 10 men our hosts staged a comeback to draw level, before James Sayer scored the winner with just over five minutes remaining.

The Men’s First Team faced Reading YMCA in the Charles Twelftree Trophy Second Round at the Rec on Saturday afternoon. We found ourselves behind within the opening minute, with a second added shortly afterwards. Despite our efforts to get back into the game, it the visitors who added to the scoreline after the break as we were knocked out of the cup with a 3-0 defeat.

The Ladies Reserves hosted Kingsclere Ladies Reserves at CSA on Sunday afternoon, suffering a 4-1 defeat. Holly Cashin was on the scoresheet for us from the penalty spot.

The Men's Sunday A's hosted Westwood Wanderers at CSA on Sunday morning. We went behind just before half-time, but despite starting the second-half the stronger side we conceded another against the run of play and couldn’t find a way back into the game as we were beaten 2-0.

The Men's Sunday B's travelled to Calcot Rec on Sunday morning to face Hype Train in Reading Sunday League Division Three. The hosts took a convincing lead with three early goals, but we fought back into the game but were unable to find a goal as we suffered a 3-0 defeat.

Our U18’s hosted Wargrave Wolves in EBFA Division Two on Saturday morning, coming out on top with a 4-3 victory in a close game at CSA.

The U17 Bears faced a big test away at league leaders Wargrave Wolves on Saturday. We took an early lead, with Will Stantiford converting a penalty won by Joe Wignall, before Joe Bailey slotted in another. The visitors got back into the game as we conceded a couple of soft goals, before Bailey put us back ahead before the break. We continued to dominate in the second-half and a good strike from Wignall made added our fourth. We should have seen the game out, but two late goals, including a last minute equaliser saw it end all square at 4-4.

There was EBFA Division Four action for the U17 Buffalos on Saturday morning, suffering a 3-2 defeat away at Whitegrove & Warfield Tigers.

Our U16's hosted Hearts of Teddlothian Lions at Willink on Saturday morning, with the points shared in a close game, ending level at 4-4.

The U15 Bisons travelled to St Crispins School in Saturday to face Ashridge Park in EFA Division Two. We found ourselves two goals behind early on, with the hosts doubling their lead early in the second-half. We pulled one back when the opposition defender scored an own-goal, but we were unable to take anything from a very physical game as we suffered a 4-1 defeat.

The U15 Buffalos faced Woodley Saints Kestrels at Berks County Sports on Saturday morning. Goals from Thomas Whitehouse and a Ryan Nichols brace saw us lead at the break, with goals coming from Eddie Riches, Rahul Thomas, Theo Paterson-Neild and Ashton Allen in the second-half as we secured a 7-2 victory.

Our U14 Rangers were away at AFC Henley Hurricanes on Saturday, coming out on top in a tight game that ended 5-4.

At Willink on Saturday morning our U14 Tridents hosted Barton Rovers Raiders in EBFA Division Six. The game ended all square with the points shared in a 1-1 draw.

Our U13 Lions suffered a 5-2 defeat away at Wokingham & Emmbrook Spurs on Saturday morning.

The U13 Blues remain at the top of the EBFA Division Three table, making it six wins from seven in the league with a 5-3 victory against Reading FC Women U13.

Our U13 Vipers were defeated 5-1 away at Wokingham & Emmbrook Sumas in EBFA Division Seven.

Also in EBFA Division Seven action were our U13 Tigers, winning 2-0 at home against Finchampstead Raiders to move to the top of the table.

The U13 Pythons excellent form continued with an emphatic win over Rotherfield United Wasps in BYDL. Goals from Zac Potter (2), William Folkard (3), Ansh Tanguturi and Keaton McKenna (2) saw us earn a 8-0 victory.

The U12's travelled away to Wokingham & Emmbrook Lions on Saturday, sharing the points in a 2-2 draw in EBFA Division Five.

Also in action on Saturday were our U11 Bears, U11 Vipers, U11 Raiders, U10 Titans, U10 Panthers, U10 Jets, U10 Falcons, U9 Lions, U9 Bluebirds, U9 Ice, U8 Tigers, U8 Pumas, U8 Lions, U8 Leopards, U8 Jaguars, U8 Panthers, U7 Tigers, U7 Lions and U7 Pumas.
