The Ladies progress in the cup on the opening weekend of the season for many teams across the age groups.

The Men’s First Team suffered a first defeat of the season as we faced Maidenhead Town at Bisham Abbey on Saturday. Ryan Farmer put us ahead mid-way through a dominant first-half, but we were unable to add to the lead before the break. Our hosts turned things around with two quick goals early into the second-half, before adding a third late on as we were pushing to find an equaliser.

Our Men’s Reserves got their TVPL Division Two campaign underway with three points away at Berks County Swords on Saturday. Goals from Samson Lace and Billy Margetts saw us come from behind twice, before an Alex Vallins strike saw us claim a 3-2 victory.

The TVPL Division Four season also kicked off on Saturday, as our Men's Saturday A's made their competitive debut. Mattie Cook was on the scoresheet for us as it finished 1-1 away at Taplow United Reserves.

On Sunday afternoon The Ladies First Team faced S4K Berks County Ladies in the First Round of the Berks & Bucks Trophy. An early goal from Jessica Kent and a late leveller from Naomi Paxford helped us to a 2-2 draw, before we progressed to the next round with victory on penalties.

The Ladies Reserves faced Ruislip Rangers in TVCWFL Development Division at CSA on Sunday. Mikala Kurz scored our only goal of the game as we suffered a 2-1 defeat.

On Sunday morning our Men’s Sunday Firsts were defeated 2-0 away at FC Sporty as the Reading Sunday League Premier Division season got underway.

The Men's Sunday Reserves hosted Arborfield at CSA in Reading Sunday League Division One. Two goals from Vinny Kennedy and another from Lewis Thorrington helped ensure the points were shared as it ended level at 3-3.

In Reading Sunday League Division Two, our Men's Sunday A's travelled away to face Reading United. We found ourselves three goals behind before Ibrahim Jalloh pulled one back just before the break. Early into the second-half we added a second from a Dom Lee header, before the hosts got a another as we suffered a 4-2 defeat.

The Men's Sunday B's faced RE United at CSA on Sunday morning, suffering an 8-0 defeat.

Our U18’s made the long journey to Teddington as the EBFA season kicked-off away at Hearts of Teddlothian Jaguars on Saturday morning. Despite trailing 2-1 at half-time, we turned things around to secure a fantastic 5-3 victory.

The U17 Bears shared the points with Pangbourne Youth Falcons as it ended 1-1 at CSA.

On Saturday morning, the U17 Buffalos were defeated 3-0 by Hearts of Teddlothian Cheetahs at CSA.

Our U16's faced Windsor Youth Merlins Jaguars on Saturday. A sluggish first-half saw us trail 3-0 at the break, before a much improved second-half saw two goals from Ben Graham (assisted by Josh Kalro and Bobby Breakenridge) and enough chances created, but rustiness was our enemy as we suffered a 4-2 defeat. Blake Nobes put in a man of the match performance for us.

The U15 Bisons faced West Byfleet Scorpions Blues in EBFA Division Two at Willink. James Chaimbault was on the scoresheet for us as we finished on the wrong end of a harsh 7-1 scoreline.

Also at Willink on Saturday morning, our U15 Buffalos hosted AFC Reading Spitfires in EBFA Division Eight. Goals from Sam Lambourne and Sam Roff helped us earn a share of the points as it finished level at 2-2.

Our U14 Rangers suffered a 6-1 defeat away at Wokingham & Emmbrook Sumas on Saturday morning.

The U13 Blues made a strong start to the season with a good 4-1 victory over Berks County Dragons on Saturday.

Our U13 Vipers also got off their season off to a winning start away at Whitegrove & Warfield Wasps. A fantastic first-half performance saw two goals each from Samuel Bradford and Nihal Samuel, before the hosts pulled two back after the break as we secured a 4-2 victory.

In BYDL, the U13 Pythons suffered a 2-1 defeat in a close game against FC Woodley Zebras White, with Deacon Romeo getting our goal.

The U12's travelled away to Camberley Town Rebels on Saturday, unfortunately suffering a 4-2 defeat.

Also in action on Saturday were our U11 Bears, U11 Vipers, U11 Raiders, U10 Titans, U10 Panthers, U10 Jets, U10 Falcons, U9 Lions, U9 Bluebirds, U9 Ice, U8 Tigers, U8 Pumas, U8 Lions, U8 Leopards, U8 Jaguars, U8 Panthers, U7 Tigers, U7 Lions and U7 Pumas.
