A busier schedule this weekend with several youth teams back in action and a big win for the Men's First Team.

The Men’s First Team put in another fantastic performance, earning a 7-1 victory over Chalvey Sports at the Rec on Saturday afternoon. Ollie Brown opened the scoring before Jack Bowyer headed in our second shortly afterwards. Josh Howell then converted a penalty, James McClellan curled in a great effort from distance and Ollie added his second of the afternoon to put us in a commanding half-time position. After the break Jordan Cox got our sixth with Jack Bowyer completing his brace as we took all three points and made it 30 goals scored in our last 5 matches.

The Men’s Reserves faced Allied Community Elite in TVPL Division Two at Sol Joel on Saturday. A first-half strike from Harry Peters and second-half goals from Lorenzo Medford, Chris Smalley-Ward and Jack Sowden helped ensure the points were shared in a 4-4 draw.

On Sunday afternoon The Ladies First Team faced Beaconsfield Town Ladies in the opening round of the TVCWFL League Cup. Rhiannon Mayfield got our only goal of the game as we suffered an 11-1 defeat.

The Ladies Reserves hosted Wycombe Saints Ladies in TVCWFL Development Division on Sunday. Sue Edwards put us ahead before the visitors took control as we were defeated 4-1.

On Sunday morning the Men’s Sunday Firsts were at South Reading Leisure Centre to take on Central Berkshire. Goals from Rhys Iremonger and Harry Peters saw us leading 2-0, before the game was abandoned by the referee mid-way through the second-half due to the conduct of our opponents.

In Reading Sunday League Division One on Sunday morning our Men's Sunday Reserves faced 116 Exiles at the Rec, with the points shared in a goalless draw.

The Men's Sunday A's hosted Barton Rovers Reserves at CSA on Sunday. Elijah Sofidiya-Taylor gave us first-half lead, but the visitors turned it around with three late goals as we were defeated 3-1.

Our U18’s made the long trip to Twickenham on Saturday morning, coming away with a point following a 3-3 draw with Moor Mead.

Despite starting with only 10 players due to injuries, unavailibility and suspension, the U17 Bears put in their performance of the season so far beating Windsor Youth 6-2 to remain second in EBFA Division Two. After soaking up some early pressure, a sweeping move on the counter ended with the award of a penalty that Joe Bailey confidently converted. After that we were in control and goals followed from Jake Timperley, Jack Vincent and Harry Marsden. Both Joe Wignall and Bailey rounded off the performance, both striking stunning free-kicks to round off an impressive battling display.

Also on Saturday morning, the U17 Buffalos hosted Rotherfield United Wasps, suffering a 3-2 defeat in a close game at CSA.

Our U16's travelled away to Goring Robins in EBFA Division Five, finishing on the wrong end of a 3-0 scoreline.

The U15 Buffalos put in a lacklustre performance in a 4-0 defeat against Sandhurst Town Royals at Willink on Saturday morning. We found ourselves 3 goals behind at the break with the visitors adding a fourth early in the second-half, as we struggled to ever really get going.

Also at Willink on Saturday morning, our U14 Rangers were defeated 3-2 in a close game against Burnham Juniors Sabres Greens.

Our U13 Lions hosted Pinewood Panthers at Mortimer West End on Saturday, earning a good 2-0 victory.

The U13 Blues travelled away to Laurel Park Hurricanes in EBFA Division Three, securing a fantastic 7-1 away victory that keeps our place at the top of the table.

Our U13 Vipers were defeated 7-1 by Bracknell Cavaliers Colts on Saturday, with Alfie Sherwood-Heath on the scoresheet for us, and Gabriel Buddery putting in a Player of the Match performance.

On Saturday morning our U13 Tigers made the short journey to face Spencers Wood Lions, taking all three points in a tight game that finished 3-2.

The U12's were defeated 7-2 away at Shinfield Rangers on Saturday in EBFA Division Five.
