Brace for Morgan

Chaotic start to this weekends game with parking space in short supply at the CSA and an over running previous game meant that we had to cut the game to 40 each way and a short half-time break.
Luxury of 3 subs with Morgan returning from injury and a special guest appearance from Joseph.
A sticky middle of the pitch wasn't going to make it easy for the midfield today but the Blues started well attacking at pace, keeping the Maidenhead defence on their heals. Although the Blues probably had the better of possession Maidenhead looked dangerous on the break and Rob had to make an excellent save to keep the scores level.
About 18 minutes in and an excellent free kick from the left picked out Morgan in the box who headed home to put the Blues one up. The rest of the half continued in a similar vein with the Blues slightly on top in terms of possession but Maidenhead offering a continued threat.
Second half started with a bang as just a couple of minutes in Miller tried his luck from a long way out and found the net and then just a few minutes later Morgan added his second with an assist from Tom. The lead allowed the Blues to try a few different formations and positions but despite a few half chances we were unable to add to the lead.
First clean sheet of the season and a vital first half save at a critical time meant Man of the Match goes to Rob for a commanding display.
