We are delighted to announce that we have been approved as an FA Weetabix Wildcats Centre, with our first session due to launch on Friday 22nd September at Burghfield CSA.

Wildcats sessions are designed to be an introduction to football for girls aged between 5-11 years old, providing an introduction to the game in a safe, fun and friendly environment.

Girls of all abilities are more than welcome to attend sessions where they can get an experience of the game whilst enjoying themselves, keeping active, building confidence and creating new friendships.

All sessions will be run by FA qualified coaches to ensure the girls are able to get a real taste of football and the opportunity to develop not only football skills, but also fundamental movements skills from balance and coordination to control and speed.

The sessions will focus on integrating these skills into different activities and games to ensure they are enjoyable and help to develop each child's creativity and imagination.

The Weetabix Wildcats programme is part of the FA's desire to grow the female game and build on the success of the Lionesses in the World Cup and last summer's European Championship victory.

We are delighted to have been approved as an FA approved Wildcats Centre, building on our club commitment to grow the number of female players involved in the game and looking to offer a pathway for girls through the age groups to our Ladies teams.

Our first Wildcats session will run on Friday 22nd September, 5:30-6:30 at Burghfield CSA, with weekly sessions thereafter.

The cost of each session will be £3 and all children will need to be registered in order to secure a place.
