How many teams are in your age group?
Currently three teams.

How long have you been involved with Burghfield FC?
I have been involved with BFC since 2008 when my eldest son started to play football.

What do you enjoy most about your role?
I enjoy seeing the development the kids get from learning and how much they enjoy playing - regardless of them winning or losing.

How do you reflect on last season for your age group?
I think the football that was played was really good for the age group. They are starting to get a good understanding of the game and maintaining discipline in their positioning. It’s just a shame it was cut short for them which was out of everyone’s control.

How have you begun preparations for next season?
We have started to make plans to restart training and have also entered into a new league which we are all looking forward to getting started.

What are you most looking forward to next season?
We are looking forward to the big change in the game format, going from 5-a-side to 7-a-side. This will be a massive change for the kids to deal with, which the managers and coaches are looking forward to helping them transition. Also, with the new entry into EBFA the huge difference of home and away matches. Again, another huge transition for the kids to deal with. Our aim will be to get them settled as quickly as possible into the game format.

Do you have any standout moments since being involved with your age group?
I would say our biggest achievement was last summer at the Westwood Wanderers tournament when one of our teams won at U7.

Who is your all-time favourite footballer and why? I don’t have an all-time favourite. There have been many players I’ve seen play over the years and admire each for their unique presence and skill.

If you could visit one stadium anywhere in the world which would it be and why? I would say Camp Nou would be an amazing stadium to visit.

Favourite film? The Italian Job – 1969 version.

Favourite music artist? No favourite. I like a mixture of music genres.

Favourite TV show? Real life documentaries/docuseries.
