Appointed in August 2024, Liam took on the role having already made a significant contribution across the club over a number of years as a player, youth coach and open-age manager, notably winning the Berks & Bucks Sunday Senior Cup in 2023 with the Men’s Sunday Firsts.

In his first full season in charge, Liam led the side to a 4th place finish in the Thames Valley Premier League Premier Division, continuing the club’s strong recent form at that level. This season, the team remain on track for another top-six finish and are into the last 16 of the TVPL FA Cup Competition.

Throughout his time as Manager, Liam has overseen a competitive and committed First Team, while continuing to support the development of players within the squad and across the wider men’s set-up.

Liam remains a valued part of Burghfield Football Club and will continue with his role as member of the club committee.
