Despite the weather there were plenty of matches played across the age groups, including cup defeat for both our Men's and Ladies First Teams.

The Men’s First Team were in BTC Senior Cup action on Saturday afternoon, taking on Yateley United in the Quarter Final at Sean Devereux Park. We went behind early on, but responded well, with a Teo Atik header levelling the scores mid-way through the first-half. Our hosts replied instantly to regain the lead though, before Ollie Brown drew us level again right on half-time. With no goals in the second-half the match finished 2-2 and went to penalties, with Yateley coming out on top to bring our cup run to an end.

The Men’s Reserves hosted Reading YMCA Rapids at CSA on Saturday in a top-of-the-table clash in TVPL Division Two. Unfortunately it wasn’t our day as the visitors came out on top as we suffered a 3-0 defeat.

On Sunday afternoon the Ladies First Team travelled to Milton Keynes to face MK City Women in the TVCWFL Plate semi-final. Despite goals from Naomi Paxford and Nicole Anderson our cup run came to an end as we suffered a 10-2 defeat.

The Men's Sunday A's were at CSA on Sunday morning, hosting RDG Athletic in RDSL Division Two. Jake McKerron put us ahead mid-way through the first-half, before Elijah Sofidiya-Taylor doubled our lead shortly afterwards. Our U15 Buffalos were also at Willink on Saturday, facing Winnersh Rangers Arrows in EBFA Division Eight. We found ourselves two goals behind early on, but pulled a goal back with a fantastic long-range strike from Theo Paterson-Neild before the break.
