Only a handful of games for our sides as the rainy conditions saw several games postponed due to waterlogged pitches this weekend.

The Men’s First Team travelled to Bisham Abbey on Saturday afternoon to face Maidenhead Town in the BTC Senior Cup Second Round. Two goals from Rhys Iremonger in the opening 20 minutes put us in control of the game, with Josh Howell adding another before the break. Harvey Beales got our fourth of the afternoon mid-way through the second-half before Josh Howell got his second goal of the game with 10 minutes remaining to cap off an excellent 5-0 away win and secure our place in the next round.

The Men’s Reserves hosted Berks County Swords at Ryeish Green on Saturday in TVPL Division Two. After a goalless first 45 minutes, Will Vallins put us ahead early in the second-half, with Lorenzo Medford adding a second shortly after. The visitors pulled a goal back late on but we held on the claim all three points and move to the top of the league with a 2-1 victory.

On Sunday afternoon The Ladies First Team faced TVCWFL Division 3S leaders Eversley & California Women Reserves at Cantley Park We unfortunately suffered a 9-1 defeat, with Nicole Anderson on the scoresheet for us in the second-half.

The Men's Sunday Reserves were in Reading Sunday League Division One action on Sunday morning, taking on TRBL Teslas at Wren School. Our hosts took an early lead, but Shane Marsh levelled the scores with 30 minutes played with a great effort from distance. We had a chance to take the lead mid-way through the second-half when Lewis Thorrington was bought down in the box, but Harry Peters penalty was saved by the Teslas goalkeeper. Despite creating chances we were unable to find a winner as the points were shared in a 1-1 draw.

The U13 Blues hosted Binfield Reds in EBFA Division Two on Saturday morning, with the game finishing all square at 2-2.

In EBFA Division Seven our U13 Tigers travelled away to Wokingham & Emmbrook Sumas, taking all three points with a good 5-2 away victory.

The U13 Vipers were in EBFA Division Eight action on Saturday morning, hosting Woodley United Cyclones. We found ourselves two goal down after just 15 minutes, but goals from Bertie England, Samuel Bradford and a Ben Stockwell brace saw us turn things around to lead at the break. The goals continued to go in at both ends in the second-half, with Samuel Bradford adding another two to complete his hat-trick and Harry Adey also on the scoresheet as we secured an excellent 7-5 win.
