A mixed bag of results across the age groups on another busy weekend of action.

The Men’s First Team travelled away to face Slough Heating Laurencians on Saturday afternoon in TVPL Premier Division. A single goal from Chris Smalley-Ward was enough to secure all three points with a good 1-0 away victory.

The Men’s Reserves hosted Maidenhead Town A at the Rec on Saturday afternoon in TVPL Division Two. Goals from Luke Stroud and Lorenzo Medford saw us leading at the break, with both players also on the scoresheet after the break too, before Kartel Forde added another late on to seal an excellent 5-1 win.

In TVPL Division Four, the Men’s Saturday A’s faced Harchester Hawks at Sol Joel on Saturday. Unfortunately it was an afternoon to forget as we suffered a disappointing 7-0 defeat.

On Sunday afternoon The Ladies First Team were in TVCWFL Division 3S action, taking on Yateley United Ladies at CSA. We found ourselves three goals behind at the break, but made a comeback in the second-half with two goals from Chloe Sykes. We were unfortunately unable to find the equaliser we deserved though as it ended in a tough 3-2 defeat.

Our Men’s Sunday Firsts hosted Tilehurst YM in RDSL Premier Division on Sunday morning at the Rec. After a goalless opening half, two goals from Harry Peters and another from Fred Taucher helped secure the three points with a good 3-0 victory.

The Men's Sunday Reserves travelled to Sheepcot Rec on Sunday morning to face Goring United in RDSL Division One. We found ourselves two goals down before a James Moring penalty got us back into the game before half-time. After the break our hosts added a further two goals, including on in the last minute, as we suffered a 4-1 defeat.

The Men's Sunday A's were at Sol Joel on Sunday morning, facing Brothers United in the RDSL Industrial Cup semi-final. A disappointing first-half saw us trail by three goals, with a fourth going in shortly after the restart. We responded well though with two goals from Elijah Sofidiya-Taylor as we took control and started to create chances as we pushed to get back into the game. As we entered the final ten minutes we threw everything forward to get something from the game, unfortunately leaving us open at the back as our opponents scored twice on the break late on as we ended in a 6-2 defeat.

The Men's Sunday B's were also at CSA on Sunday morning, facing Southbank in RDSL Division Three. We trailed by a single game at half-time, but were unable to keep up the intensity of the opening half after the break as it ended in a 5-0 defeat.

The U17 Bears travelled away to Windsor Youth Eagles Jaguars in EBFA Division Two on Saturday morning, unfortunately suffering a 2-1 defeat in a tight game.

The U15 Bisons faced Sandhurst Town Reds in EBFA Division Two on Saturday afternoon, taking the lead early on through a Jack Burns strike. The hosts levelled the game mid-way through the first-half, before Kaiyon McKenna restored our lead just after the break. Our hosts levelled the scores again before Dylan Shaw headed in a James Chaimbault corner to claim all three points with an excellent 3-2 away win.

Our U15 Buffalos were also in Sandhurst on Saturday morning, facing Sandhurst Town Royals in EBFA Division Eight. Struggling with injuries and illness we were reduced to 10 players for the majority of the game, and played spells with just 9 on the pitch. Despite this a very poor first-half saw us trail by five goals, but we showed more fight in the second-half and pulled a goal back through a fantastic Ryan Nicols strike. Our hosts added another two late on though as we tired, with the match ending in a disappointing 7-1 defeat.

On Saturday morning the U14 Rangers travelled away to Burnham Junior Sabres Green, suffering a 3-0 defeat in EBFA Division Two.

The U14 Tridents hosted league leaders Pinewood Predators at Willink in EBFA Division Six on Saturday, finishing on the wrong end of a tight 2-1 scoreline.

Our U13 Lions visited Pinewood Panthers in EBFA Division One, taking all three points with an excellent 7-2 away victory.

The U13 Blues hosted Finchampstead Eagles in EBFA Division Two on Saturday morning, coming out on top in a close game with a good 3-2 win.

In EBFA Division Seven our U13 Tigers excellent recent form continued, with an excellent 4-2 victory over Winnersh Rangers Rovers in EBFA Division Seven at Mortimer West End.

In BYDL on Saturday morning, the U13 Pythons faced Rotherfield United Wasps at Coley Rec. We continued our excellent recent form with a 5-0 victory, with Keaton McKenna scoring all of the goals.

The U12's hosted Whitegrove & Warfield Razorbacks at Willink on Saturday morning in EBFA Division Six, taking all the points with an excellent 4-0 win.
