There was a mix of league and friendly fixtures across the age groups on a rainy weekend of action for our teams.

The Men’s Reserves travelled to Alfred Major Rec on Saturday afternoon to face Cookham Dean in TVPL Division Two. Harrison Armitage put us ahead early on, before Lorenzo Medford scored either side of the break to put us in command. Jack Bowyer added a fourth before the visitors pulled one back from the penalty spot as we took all three points with an excellent 4-1 away win.

The Men’s Saturday A’s faced AFC Winkfield Reserves in a friendly at Prospect School on Saturday, suffering a tight 3-2 defeat against opposition from a higher division.

On Sunday afternoon the Ladies First Team travelled to Sean Devereux Park to face Yateley United Ladies in TVCWFL Division 3S, suffering a 1-0 defeat with the winner coming from the penalty spot.

The Men's Sunday A's were at Theale Green School on Sunday morning, facing Barton Rovers Reserves in RDSL Division Two. Simon Beake put us ahead, but the hosts turned things around to lead at the break after we twice failed to clear set-pieces into our box. Jayce Torrie levelled the scores in the second-half, but the hosts again went ahead mid-way through the half. We replied instantly through a Tom Sowden strike from distance, before Callum Chada scored a late winner to secure the points with a hard-earned 4-3 victory.

The Men's Sunday B's faced Sanctuary Strikers at South Reading Leisure Centre on Sunday morning in RDSL Division Three. Goals from Brian Parr (2), Tom McClellan (2), Harry Peters and an own goal helped us secure our first points of the season with an excellent 6-3 away win.

Our U18’s travelled away to AFC Henley Hurricanes in EBFA Division Two on Saturday morning, unfortunately finishing on the wrong end of an 8-2 scoreline.

There was a goal-fest for the U17 Bears in EBFA Division Two on Saturday morning, as we ran out 16-0 winners against Camberley Town Youth Royals at CSA.

Our U16's were in friendly action on Saturday morning, suffering a 5-1 away defeat at Purley Jubilee All Stars.

The U15 Bisons faced FC Woodley Zebras Red at Sandford Park on Saturday morning in EBFA Division Two. We found ourselves behind at the break, with the hosts scoring right on half-time. We took control of the game in the second-half, with Risto Parsley levelling the scores, before Kai Trust headed us in front as we entered the final ten minutes. A minute later Kai scored again with a fantastic strike to seal a deserved 3-1 win.

On Saturday morning the U14 Rangers travelled away to Caversham Trents White in EBFA Division Two, taking all three points with an excellent 2-0 away victory.

Our U13 Lions were away at title-chasing Marlow Youth in EBFA Division One, unfortunately suffering a 6-0 defeat.

The U13 Blues hosted Spencers Wood Dragons in EBFA Division Two on Saturday morning, suffering a 2-1 defeat in a close game.

In EBFA Division Seven our U13 Tigers remain at the top of the table, with a fantastic 5-1 home victory against second-placed Westwood Wanderers.

The U13 Vipers were in EBFA Division Eight action on Saturday morning, travelling away to Finchampstead Raiders. Despite a goal in each half from Harry Adey we were unable to take anything from the game as it ended in a 3-2 defeat.

Our U13 Pythons faced Westwood Wanderers Colts in a friendly on Saturday morning. Four goals from William Folkard alongside goals from Keaton McKenna, Deacon Romeo and Dillon Phillips helped us secure a comfortable 7-1 victory.

The U12's were away at AFC Henley Harriers in EBFA Division Six on Saturday morning, coming out on top with an excellent 3-1 victory.

Also in action on Saturday were our U11 Bears, U11 Vipers, U11 Raiders, U10 Titans, U10 Panthers, U10 Jets, U10 Falcons, U9 Lions, U9 Bluebirds, U9 Ice, U8 Tigers, U8 Pumas, U8 Lions, U8 Leopards, U8 Jaguars, U8 Panthers, U7 Tigers, U7 Lions and U7 Pumas.
