A busy weekend saw some big games amongst our senior teams, including the Men's Sunday Firsts securing a place in the B&B Cup Final.

The Men’s First Team travelled away to unbeaten league leaders Yateley United on Saturday afternoon in TVPL Premier Division. We trailed by a single goal at the break, with the hosts adding a second early in the second-half. Jack Bowyer headed in to pull one back shortly after, before Yateley again extended their lead just after the hour mark. We continued to look dangerous though, and deservedly drew level through a neat finish from Ollie Brown and a Lewis Butcher header. With the game looking like it could go either way, it was the hosts who found a late winner as we suffered a 4-3 defeat.

The Men’s Reserves hosted SB Phoenix Reserves at the Rec on Saturday afternoon in TVPL Division Two. A single first-half strike from Lorenzo Medford was enough to secure all three points and keep up our recent good form with a 1-0 victory.

On Sunday afternoon The Ladies First Team made the journey away to face Launton in the TWCWFL Plate quarter-final. The scores were level at 1-1 after 90 minutes, with our goal coming from Nicole Anderson, meaning the game went to penalties. We held our nerve and came out on top 4-2 in the shoot-out to book our place in the semi-finals.

The Ladies Reserves were in TVCWFL Development Division action at CSA on Sunday afternoon, unfortunately suffering a 2-1 defeat in a close game against Stanford-in-The-Vale, with Holly Cashin on the scoresheet for us.

Our Men’s Sunday Firsts were in Berks & Bucks Sunday Cup semi-final action on Sunday morning, facing FC Bapco at the Rec. Two goals from Ollie Brown us ahead in the opening half hour, before the visitors pulled one. Matt Symington extended our lead, but again the visitors quickly responded as we went in 3-2 ahead at the break. Josh Howell finally secured the victory with a late goal to cap off an excellent performance and result as we booked our place in the B&B Cup Final.

The Men's Sunday Reserves hosted TRBL Teslas at CSA on Sunday morning. Despite two goals from Shane Marsh we were unable to take anything from the game as we suffered a 4-2 defeat.

The Men's Sunday A's travelled away to face RDG Athletic at Berks County Sports on Sunday morning in RDSL Division Two. Lewis Jones put us ahead from the penalty spot mid-way through the first-half, before two goals from Jack Sowden put us in command at the break. A resolute second-half performance, that saw James Randall save a penalty from our hosts, was capped off in the final minute as Jack Sowden completed his hat-trick to secure a deserved 4-0 victory.

The Men's Sunday B's were at CSA on Sunday morning, facing Southcote Colts in RDSL Division Three. It proved to be a tough morning for the team as we suffered a 10-0 defeat.

Our U18’s travelled away to Wargrave Wolves in TVPL Division Two on Saturday morning, taking all three points with a good 4-2 away victory.

The U17 Bears also faced a Wargrave Wolves side, hosting them at CSA on Saturday morning in EBFA Division Two. Unfortunately our visitors got the better of us on this occasion as we suffered a 3-1 defeat.

The U15 Bisons faced Ashridge Park in EBFA Division Two at Willink on Saturday morning. After a goalless opening half, Kai Trust put us ahead with a well taken finish, getting on the end of a long kick from goalkeeper Micah Hancock. Our lead lasted just 10 minutes though, as the visitors drew level, and then went on to score a late winner as we were beaten 2-1.

Our U15 Buffalos were also at Willink on Saturday morning, taking on Woodley Saints Kestrels in EBFA Division Eight. Despite dominating the opening half, we were hit by a counter attack just before the break that saw us trail at half-time. Our dominance continued into the second-half, with Sam Roff eventually finding our equaliser with a great strike from distance. We continued to create chances but came up against a goalkeeper in inspired form and nothing would quite fall for us as we shared the points in a 1-1 draw.

On Saturday morning the U14 Rangers hosted AFC Henley Hurricanes at Willink in EBFA Division Two, sharing the points in an entertaining 3-3 draw.

The U14 Tridents were also at the Willink on Saturday afternoon, taking all three points with an excellent 5-2 victory over Reeves Rangers Hoops.

Our U13 Lions hosted EPC Development Reds on Saturday, sharing the points in a 2-2 draw at Mortimer West End in EBFA Division One.

The U13 Blues made the journey to Windsor on Saturday morning to face Windsor Youth Ospreys Titans in EBFA Division Two. Another goal-filled game saw both sides share the points as it ended 3-3.

In EBFA Division Seven our U13 Tigers earned another three points with a good 2-1 victory away at Marlow Youth Town.

The U13 Vipers were in EBFA Division Eight action on Saturday morning, hosting Marlow Youth Oaks at Mortimer West End. Ben Stockwell was on the scoresheet for us but we finished on the wrong end of a 4-1 scoreline.

There was a goal-fest In BYDL on Saturday morning, as the U13 Pythons faced Whiteknights Tigers at Coley Rec. After going behind early on goals from Keaton McKenna (2), William Folkard (2) and Matthew Souden put us in a commanding position, but Whiteknights fought back well, eventually taking a share of the points as it finished in a 5-5 draw.
