A full schedule across age groups this weekend, as our men's teams played their final pre-season games and youth sides continued in league action.

In their final pre-season friendly before the league campaign begins, our Saturday First Team faced Berks County at the Rec in a hard fought, competitive encounter that ended goalless.

The Saturday Reserves travelled to Calcot Rec to take on East Berkshire Football League side, Hype Train FC. After falling behind early, Daniel Ward levelled the scores mid-way through the first-half before Hype Train secured a 2-1 victory after the break.

Our Sunday Firsts were on the road again to take on Bracknell Town & District Premier League side Bracknell Rangers on Sunday morning. We started well and took a two-goal lead through Ollie Brown and James Tarrant, but unfortunately conceded two second half goals to finish all square at 2-2.

We had a double header with Datchet on Sunday morning, with their First Team visiting the Rec and coming away with a 2-0 victory over our Sunday Reserves.

The Sunday A Team faced Datchet Reserves away at Datchet Rec. Two first-half goals from Josh Mehmet put us ahead before a fantastic goal from Alex Reeves topped off an excellent performance to secure a 3-0 win.

At CSA on Sunday morning our Sunday B Team took on Barton Rovers Reserves. Goals from Harry McIntyre, Tom McClellan, Dom Kerevan and Mark Shatliff helped us on the way to an excellent 4-1 victory.

There were mixed fortunes for our U17 sides in the EBFA on Saturday morning. The U17 Reds made it three wins from three with a comfortable 6-0 home victory over Curley Park Rangers Spitfires. The U17 Blues unfortunately suffered a 3-0 defeat away at Caversham Trents Blues.

The U16’s faced Wargrave Wolves at CSA, with goals from Patrick Wynn, Luke Mason and Callum Ramsden putting us in a commanding position before 3 goals in 10 second-half minutes from the visitors levelled the scores. Patrick Wynn then added two more, one from the penalty spot, to secure his hat-trick and earn a 5-3 victory.

It was a good day in EBFA Division 4 on Saturday as our U15 Bears won 4-1 away at Ascot United Chargers and our U15 Buffalos secured a 2-1 victory at home against Spencers Wood Scorpions.

The U14’s took on Goring Robins at Mortimer West End on Saturday morning, unfortunately coming away on the wrong end of a 5-1 scoreline.

Both of our U13 teams were away this weekend, with the U13 Bisons facing Caversham Trents Blues. Despite goals from Sam Davies, Kieran Hoile and Kai Trust we came away from the game with a 5-3 defeat.

The U13 Buffalos travelled to Maidenhead to take on a strong and physical Maidenhead Foxes team on Saturday morning. Despite going in front early we suffered a 12-5 defeat.

Our U12 Rangers suffered a 2-1 defeat at the Rec against Windsor Youth Owls Blues, whilst our U12 Tridents ended goalless away at Old Windsor Tigers Reds.

Also in action over the weekend were our U11 Lions, U11 Tigers, U11 Vipers, U11 Pythons, U11 Cobras, U10's, U9 Oranges, U9 Reds, U9 Yellows, U8 Greens, U8 Reds, U7 Ice and U7 Bluebirds.
