Several sides finally made a return to action for the first time this year on a packed weekend across the age groups.

The Men’s First Team were back in TVPL Premier Division action on Saturday afternoon, hosting SB Phoenix at the Rec. Harvey Beales put us ahead mid-way through the first-half, but the visitors pulled a goal back after the break meaning the points were shared as it ended all square at 1-1.

The Men’s Reserves faced Slough Heating Laurencians Reserves at CSA on Saturday. Despite going behind in the opening half, an Elliott Telford second-half brace turned the game around as we earned a hard-fought 2-1 victory to remain at the top of the TVPL Division Two table.

Also at CSA on Saturday afternoon, the Men’s Saturday A’s hosted SB Phoenix Development in TVPL Division Four. The visitors led by a single goal at the break, but added another two in the second-half as we suffered a 3-0 defeat.

On Sunday afternoon The Ladies First Team travelled to Hayes to face Hillingdon Abbots Ladies in TVCWFL Division 3S. A Naomi Paxford brace and another goal from Sophie Frost was enough to take all three points as we secured a good 3-1 away win.

Our Men’s Sunday Firsts faced Chilton in the Berks & Bucks Cup Third Round on Sunday morning. Two goals each from Ollie Brown and Jack Bowyer ensured we progress to the next round with a fantastic 4-2 victory.

The Men's Sunday Reserves were also in cup action, hosting GC United at CSA in the Tilehurst Charity Cup Quarter Final. The game finished goalless after 90 minutes, meaning penalties were needed to separate the sides. Unfortunately the visitors came out on top in the shoot-out as we were defeated 4-3 on penalties as our cup run came to an end.

The Men's Sunday A's faced Give Back Reserves in Reading Sunday League Division Two on Sunday morning. Despite a goal from Jake McKerron we were unable to take anything from the game against a very tough opposition as we suffered a 7-1 defeat.

The Men's Sunday B's were in Reading Sunday League Division Three action on Sunday morning, unfortunately suffering a 4-1 defeat at CSA against Brothers United, with Callum Fraser on the scoresheet for us from the penalty spot.

Our U18’s faced Pinewood Panthers in EBFA Division Two at CSA on Saturday morning, earning an excellent 3-1 victory

The U17 Bears progressed to the EBFA Cup quarter-finals with a 2-1 victory against Wargrave Wolves at CSA on Saturday.

The U17 Buffalos were also in EBFA Cup action, travelling away to Woodley Wanderers Reds. Unfortunately the cup run came to an end as we suffered a 4-2 defeat.

The U16's had an impressive win against Ashridge Park United in the EBFA Plate. Thanks to a hat-trick from Blake Nobes and goals from Jacob Rutland, Josh Kalro, Bobby Breakenridge and Luca Paonessa we progress to the quarter-finals with an excellent 7-1 win.

The U15 Bisons faced Ascot United Raiders in EBFA Division Two on Saturday. Despite a Sam Davies goal we trailed 2-1 at the break, before our hosts added another two second-half goals as we were defeated 4-1.

In EBFA Division Eight, our U15 Buffalos travelled away to Maidenhead Stingrays. After going behind early on we turned things around before half-time with goals from Mac Adufo and Glenn Griffiths. Despite another goal from Mac and a Sam Roff strike in the second-half we were eventually beaten by a last-minute winner, as it ended in a disappointing 5-4 defeat.

In EBFA Division Two our U14 Rangers visited Henley Lions, earning a fantastic 3-2 victory.

The U14 Tridents suffered a 9-0 defeat as we were knocked out of the EBFA Trophy on Saturday morning away at Woodley Wanderers Tigers.

Our U13 Lions were in EBFA Cup action, earning a place in the semi-finals with victory on penalties away at AFC Henley Hurricanes on Saturday morning. The game finished level at 2-2 before we secured our place in the next round with a 6-5 win on penalties.

The U13 Blues hosted league leaders Bracknell Athletic in EBFA Division Two on Saturday morning, finishing on the wrong end of a close 3-2 scoreline.

In EBFA Division Seven our U13 Tigers hosted Whitegrove & Warfield Bees, securing an excellent 5-0 victory.

The U13 Vipers were in EBFA Division Eight action on Saturday morning, travelling away to Darby Green & Potley Strikers. Despite a Harry Adey brace and another goal from Ben Stockwell, we were unable to take anything from the game as it ended in a 4-3 defeat.

In BYDL on Saturday morning, the U13 Pythons faced Whiteknights Tigers at Coley Rec. William Folkard put us ahead before we added a second from the penalty spot mid-way through the first-half. Our opponents pulled a goal back, but second-half strikes from Keaton McKenna and Deacon Romeo ensured we earned a good 4-1 win.

The U12's hosted Moor Mead at the Rec on Saturday morning, unfortunately suffering a 2-0 defeat.

Also in action on Saturday were our U11 Bears, U11 Vipers, U11 Raiders, U10 Titans, U10 Jets, U10 Falcons, U9 Bluebirds, U9 Ice, U8 Tigers, U8 Pumas, U8 Lions, U8 Leopards, U8 Jaguars, U8 Panthers, U7 Tigers, U7 Lions and U7 Pumas.
