Weekend Round-Up - 28/29 September 2024

A rain affected weekend saw a number of postponements, but there was still plenty of action across the age groups.

Mens
Despite goals from Ryan Farmer and Jack Bowyer, the Men’s First Team were defeated 6-2 at Finchampstead.

The Saturday A's suffered a 3-0 defeat at Finchampstead United.

An Elliott Telford hat-trick and an own goal saw the Sunday Reserves take the points with a 4-2 victory over Goring United.

Morgan Parsley got the only goal of the game as the Sunday A's defeated Caversham United 1-0.

The Sunday B's suffered an 8-2 defeat at Kings Head, with Oli Warkup and Jack Farmer on the scoresheet.

Ladies
The Ladies Reserves won 7-1 away at East Oxford Ladies Reserves, with goals from Georgia Hind (2), Millie Caswell (3) and Ava Sims (2).

Youth
Ciaran Rowland-Holton was on the scoresheet as the U17 Bisons were defeated 6-1 by Eldon Celtic Lions.

Despite goals from Andrew Franks and Ethan Smith, the U17 Buffalos suffered a 5-2 defeat at West Byfleet Scorpions Yellows.

There was an excellent 11-0 victory for our U15 Pythons at Whiteknights Tigers, thanks to goals from William Folkard (4), Taylan Thomas, Chris Kirrane, Alexander Desai (4) and Harry Adey.

The U14's were defeated 5-3 by Finchampstead Titans.

It ended level as the U13 Colts drew 2-2 with Winnersh Rangers Jets.

The U13 Raiders suffered a 2-1 defeat against Maidenhead United Blacks.

There was a good 9-1 away win for our U13 Bears at Maidenhead Boys & Girls Mavericks.

The U13 Girls were defeated 2-1 at Wargrave Girls.

The U12 Raptors took the points with a 6-0 victory over Ashridge Park Rovers.

Also in action on Saturday were our teams from the U7's - U11's in EBFA and BYDL league action.
