There were victories for both the Ladies and Men's First Teams on a mixed weekend of results across the age groups.

The Men’s First Team were back at the Rec again on Saturday afternoon, hosting Wraysbury in TVPL Premier Division. Goals from Harvey Beales and Josh Howell secured all three points in a comfortable 2-0 victory.

The Men’s Reserves made the journey to Farnham Park on Saturday afternoon to take on SB Phoenix Reserves in TVPL Division Two. Unfortunately it wasn’t our day, finding ourselves behind early on as we went on to suffer a 5-0 defeat.

At CSA on Saturday afternoon, the Men’s Saturday A’s hosted Reading City Lions in TVPL Division Four. Goals from Mattie Cook and Jack Sowden either side of a goal for our visitors put us ahead. Just before half-time Ben Corbett picked the ball up under pressure, he wanted to break free and beat his man in a flash, before hitting a left-footed shot that went in like a kind of magic. That didn’t stop us now though, as we knew the show must go on after the break and we took complete control in the second-half. Two more goals from Mattie Cook to complete his hat-trick and a Will May strike saw us run out 6-1 winners.

On Sunday afternoon The Ladies First Team were in TVCWFL Plate action, facing Wycombe Saints at CSA. Despite going a goal behind, we turned things around in emphatic fashion, with goals from Sophie Frost, Chloe Sykes, Sophie Beake, Naomi Paxford (2), Laura Middleton, Carol Checkley and Nicole Anderson securing an 8-1 victory to book our place in the quarter finals.

Our Men’s Sunday Firsts were defeated 3-0 by Mortimer at the Rec in Reading Sunday League Premier Division on Sunday morning.

The Men's Sunday Reserves travelled to Laurel Park to face Loxwood Park Rangers in Reading Sunday League Division One. Despite a first-half goal from Vinny Kennedy we were unable to take anything from the game as we suffered a 2-1 defeat.

The Men's Sunday A's faced Rose & Thistle at Mapledurham Rec in Reading Sunday League Division Two on Sunday morning. An even contest was decided by a late penalty for the hosts as we were beaten 1-0.

The Men's Sunday B's were in Reading Sunday League Division Three action on Sunday morning, unfortunately suffering a 7-0 defeat at CSA against Southcote Colts to cap off a disappointing Sunday morning across our men’s age group.

Our U18’s faced unbeaten league leaders Woodley United Mohawks in EBFA Division Two at CSA on Saturday morning, suffering a 2-1 defeat in a close game.

The U17 Buffalos faced Whitegrove & Warfield Tigers in EBFA Division Four at CSA on Saturday morning, unfortunately finishing on the wrong end of a 6-3 scoreline.

The U16's travelled to Barton Rovers Raiders on Saturday morning, suffering a 1-0 defeat in a close game in EBFA Division Five.

The U15 Bisons faced unbeaten Whitegrove & Warfield Eagles at Willink on Saturday in EBFA Division Two. After a goalless first-half, James Chaimbault put us in front, heading in a cross from the left from Risto Parsley. Our lead didn’t last long though as the visitors equalised shortly after. Despite chances for both sides the game finished all square as the points were shared in a 1-1 draw.

In EBFA Division Eight, our U15 Buffalos hosted Wargrave Wolves Reds at Willink. Both sides had chances to score in an evenly matched opening half, before the visitors took control after the break as we suffered a disappointing 3-0 defeat.

Also at Willink on Saturday morning our U14 Rangers faced Pangbourne Youth Panthers, earning all three points with an excellent 3-0 victory.

The U14 Tridents faced league leaders Whitegrove & Warfield Vipers in EBFA Division Six, suffering a 4-1 away defeat.

Our U13 Lions shared the points with Eldon Celtic Juniors Lions at Mortimer West End on Saturday morning, as the match finished level at 1-1 in EBFA Division One.

The U13 Blues made the journey to Maidenhead on Saturday, suffering a 4-2 defeat at Maidenhead Boys & Girls Scorpions.

In EBFA Division Seven our U13 Tigers kept up their fantastic recent form, with an excellent 7-0 victory away at Old Windsor Tigers Reds in EBFA Division Seven.

The U13 Vipers were in EBFA Division Eight action on Saturday morning, hosting Maidenhead Boys & Girls Wolverines at Mortimer West End. Goals from Samuel Bradford and Bertie England saw us lead at the break, with Harry Adey, Kian Evans and Leonidas Reid-Hinchcliffe all on the scoresheet in the second-half in a 5-1 victory.

In BYDL on Saturday morning, the U13 Pythons faced Rotherfield United Wasps at Coley Rec. Despite going behind, we were level before half-time through a William Folkard goal. We took control in the second-half with Keaton McKenna (2), William Folkard, Deacon Romeo and Ansh Tanguturi all getting goals as we secured a 6-1 win.

The U12's travelled away to Hawley Youth Falcons on Saturday morning, taking all three points with a good 4-0 away victory.
