Weekend Round-Up - 5/6 April 2025

A quiet schedule for our youth sides, but the majority of our senior teams were involved in a mix of league and cup action over the weekend.

Mens
The Saturday Reserves suffered penalty shoot-out defeat after a goalless draw with Maidenhead Town Reserves in the BTC Intermediate Cup.

Goals from Jayce Torrie, Josh McLean (2) and Vinny Kennedy (2) helped the Saturday A's to an emphatic 5-0 victory over Farnham Common United.

Harry Peters and Jordan Webb were on the scoresheet as the Sunday Firsts won 2-1 against Tilehurst El Patrons.

The Sunday Reserves suffered a 4-0 defeat in the Tilehurst Charity Cup semi-final against FC Bapco.

Despite a Morgan Parsley goal, the Sunday A's were defeated 2-1 by Barton Rovers Reserves.

An Oli Warkup brace and a Dean Williams strike saw the Sunday B's earn a 3-1 victory at Calcot.

Ladies
The Ladies First Team faced Kidlington Youth Women in a double-header. The points were shared in a 1-1 draw in the first game, with Steph Nelson on the scoresheet.

An Ava Sims brace helped secure a 2-1 victory in the second game.

There was also a double-header for the Ladies Reserves against Finchampstead Ladies Reserves. Abi Elliott and Georgia Hind were on the scoresheet in a 2-2 draw in the opening game.

Georgia Hind scored both goals in a 2-1 victory in the second game.

Youth
The U18's suffered a 3-1 defeat at Hearts of Teddlothian Lions.

Despite a Ryan Phillips goal, the U17 Bisons were defeated 3-1 by Woodley Wanderers Tigers.

The U16 Rangers were defeated 1-0 by Binfield Predators.

There was an excellent 6-1 away victory for the U16 Tridents at Bracknell Panthers.

The U12 Titans secured a good 2-0 win over AFC Henley Hotshots.

The points were shared in a 2-2 draw between the U12 Raptors and Pinewood Pandas.

Also in EBFA action on Saturday were our teams from the U11's.
