The weekend saw a win for the Men's First Team as the TVPL title race continues and a reduced youth schedule with the EBFA season nearing completion.

The Men’s First Team were at the Rec again on Saturday afternoon, taking on Maidenhead Town in Thames Valley Premier League. After a goalless first-half, we took the lead shortly after the break when Lewis Butcher headed in a free-kick from the right. Ollie Brown doubled our lead with a left-footed finish across the keeper before adding his second and our third of the game to put us in command. The visitors pulled a goal back in the final minute but we secured another important three points in the title race at the top of TVPL.

On Sunday morning our Men’s Sunday Firsts travelled to Sol Joel Park to take on Maiden Place on the back of a fantastic local derby victory over Mortimer during the week. Despite goals from Samson Lace and Kieran Farmer either side of the break, our hosts took the points as we were defeated 3-2.

At the Rec on Sunday morning, our Sunday Reserves hosted title-challengers Emmer Green in Reading & District Sunday League Division One. Two first-half goals were enough to decide the game as we suffered a 2-0 defeat.

The Sunday B's hosted FC Woodley at CSA on Sunday morning. A close game was decided by a single goal mid-way through the second-half as we were defeated 1-0.

On Saturday morning, the U16 Bears travelled away to Woodley Wanderers Jaguars in EBFA Division Three, securing an excellent 4-0 away win.

Our U13 Lions were also on the road on Saturday morning, facing Caversham Trents Whites in EBFA Division Three. Unfortunately we were uanble to take anything from the game as we suffered a 2-1 defeat.

The U13 Rangers maintained our place at the top of EBFA Division Four with a fantastic 4-1 victory in a top-of-the-table clash away at Twyford Comets Reds on Saturday morning.

Our U13 Tridents made the trip to Maidenhead on Saturday to face Maidenhead United Juniors Magpies, finishing on the wrong end of a close 2-1 scoreline.

In EBFA Division Three, the U12 Cobras travelled away to Caversham Trents Blues, suffering a 2-1 defeat in a tight game.

The U12 Vipers hosted Binfield Harriers at the Rec in EBFA Division Eight on Saturday morning, earning an excellent 1-0 victory to move up to second place in the table.

Also in action on Saturday were our U11’s, U9 White, U9 Green, U9 Red, U8 Ice, U8 Bluebirds, U8 Lions, U7 Lions, U7 Pumas, U7 Panthers, U7 Tigers, U7 Jaguars and U7 Leopards.
